We got to go to the zoo today! It's not my favorite zoo ever. But for all the kids know, it's like entering Noah's Ark...Every animal imaginable, and new sights and sounds around every corner. Even more strikingly similar to the Ark, i'd imagine, would be that as the day wears on, that sun heats up and you can actually taste which animal you'll see next, even before you smell it.
Seriously though, we love the zoo.The kids can't get enough of it. Today the kids and I went with Katie and JoJo. I think we went at just the right time too, because as we left, it was like the Isrealites and the Exodus. Hundreds upon hundreds of people were streaming into the zoo...we were greatful to be leaving when we did. Katie even looked it up on her phone to see if we missed some special event. Turned out, it was just a happy spring Friday, and everyone else had the same great idea that we did. It was 76 degrees when we left...what a nice day! Enjoy the pictures...Katies are much better than mine. She's so talented. I'm so greatful for her friendship. And for such a pretty day to spend with the family!
