SNOT

Oh the snot in this household is spectacular! Different hues of green, yellow, and clear. The consistencies are expansive. They range from thick to goopie, stringy to drippy. They eyes ooze, the sneezes spray. The coughs are wet, the medicine is not a hit, and sleep is scarce. Our sweet babies have colds, which seem to be the worse kind of sick to be. There's no medicine to fix it, just saline solution to pump up noses and Vicks to smear. Tylenol to bring down a fever and lots and lots of tissues.
But i'm not complaining. This is really the only time when our babies really want to be snuggled anymore. "Mommy, I want you!" And, "Daddy, you hold me!" By the way, those are tear drops on Logan's shirt above. Leah's lines have been more like, "My nose isn't working right now." And, "I'm cold, Mommy. Can I wear your sweatshirt?"
We'll take the snot along with the snuggles. I'll accept the crust on my shoulder with the warm head resting there too. Thank you, Lord for allowing me to be a Mommy!
